Silly Little Human!
As Lina picked up her damaged phone, a jolt of electricity ran through her body, and she screamed in pain, her eyes shut tightly as she felt herself falling to the floor. Her senses were overwhelmed by the sensation of electricity coursing through her, making it impossible for her to think or move.
After what felt like an eternity, she managed to open her eyes, blinking rapidly as she tried to make sense of her surroundings. And that was when she realized she was not on the carpet she expected to land on. She saw the familiar face of Dongfang Qingcang, the Moon Supreme, and felt her soft lips pressing against his as she lay on top of him. Her heart pounded as she tried to process what was happening.
‘WHAT IS HE DOING HERE?’ she thought, her mind racing with questions and confusion.
Their lips met, and the suddenness of the action took both aback. This was the second time they had accidentally kissed, which still caught them both off guard.
‘Oh, no, this can’t be happening… Please don’t tell me that I…’ Lina’s mind wandered as she was too stunned to do anything. ‘I’M ASSAULTING AN INNOCENT-MINDED MAN!’ she thought, panicking, feeling anxious and unsure, wondering why Qingcang was there in the first place. ‘Oh… it’s just a kiss… nothing inappropriate going on here…’ she thought, somewhat relieved. Suddenly, it hit her, ‘Wait! Kiss? NO! Why am I kissing him?’
And now, as Lina lay on top of Qingcang, her body pressed against his, she could not help but wonder if this was some kind of hallucination. When she wished for something to prevent her from going crazy from all the pressure today, she never thought this experience with the Moon Supreme would happen.
‘What is she doing?’ Qingcang thought, surprised to experience Lina’s kiss again, his mind whirring with questions and confusion. He had been just as astonished as her when their lips had met. But as he looked up at her, he saw the shock and panic in her eyes.
Suddenly, electricity ran through both of their bodies, and the unexpected jolt left a strange effect on them. It filled them with an inexplicable warmth that reached their hearts, and they both felt a sense of vulnerability and openness.
‘What’s happening? Is this dangerous?’ Lina thought, stunned at the sudden electricity around them. She tried to push herself off Qingcang but had no strength; the electricity glued them together.
Qingcang felt resistance and feistiness leaving him as if the electricity had pulled those traits out of his system, leaving him with nothing except his true self, the man behind the mask. He felt himself getting weaker by the second as if a force was absorbing a part of him and detoxifying him from his aggressive identity.
Dongfang Qingcang and Lina gazed at each other as she lay on top of him, feeling incredibly awkward and uncomfortable.
‘WHY didn’t he push me away? Don’t tell me that this RASCAL is enjoying this!’ Lina thought as she felt too weak to push herself off Qingcang due to the electricity that forced them together like magnets. Her body tensed up, and she was at her wit’s end, feeling like she was about to lose her mind. They were still in an embarrassing position, their mouths still on each other.
Suddenly, Lina’s eyes felt heavy, and she closed her eyes and drifted off into a daydream, experiencing a vision:
.
.
.
Standing before a small group of people, a middle-aged man dressed in a long, flowing white robe shouted at a man whose face was blurry and unidentifiable, his voice echoing across the damp expanse. The man wore a gleaming golden headpiece that glinted in the sunlight, casting a shimmering reflection across his face.
“The Moon Tribe are our enemies,” the middle-aged man bellowed, “Take a stand and kill them! This is your destiny.”
The unidentified man hesitated, his voice faltering, “This is not a battle I want to fight.”
“Nonsense!” exclaimed the middle-aged man, his voice rising even higher. He continued to urge the unidentified man to fight against the Moon Tribe. “You are the one to bring victory to our tribe,” he said persuasively, his words carrying an almost hypnotic quality.
Despite the man’s persuasive words, the unidentified man remained hesitant and unwilling to participate in the conflict. “I do not wish to harm others, and violence only leads to more violence,” he said firmly, his voice filled with conviction.
The middle-aged man grew angry and impatient with the unidentifiable man’s reluctance. “Are you rebelling against your people?” he asked sneakingly, his eyes narrowing with suspicion.

‘She’s not waking up,’ Qingcang thought, still stunned at the sudden turn of events.
Lina’s eyes opened wide in surprise before returning to consciousness. She had just experienced a vision that lasted only a few seconds, and now she was back in a compromising situation. She noticed that the lightning had disappeared and that she was still on top of a Moon Tribesman. She knew it was not a vision this time as she felt his soft lips against hers, and panic set in.
‘Oh no, I’M STILL KISSING HIM!’ she screamed internally.
Qingcang was taken aback as she suddenly pushed herself away from him, and he could see the fear and shock in her eyes. As she stumbled back, she accidentally hit her head on the nearby coffee table, and he also felt a sharp pain in the back of his head. He groaned in discomfort and annoyance. He thought, ‘That clumsy human!’ as he slowly brought his hand to his head, feeling her pain as his own.
Lina was so flustered by the unexpected kiss that she did not notice the nearby coffee table.
“You!” Qingcang exclaimed, frustrated at her lack of awareness. He could not help but think, ‘This woman isn’t watching where she’s going!’ as he saw her lose her balance and fall backward.
Qingcang watched as she lost her balance and stumbled towards him once again, her eyes wide and expression panicked. She fell back onto him, and their lips met again in yet another accidental kiss.
Again…
‘This woman…’ Dongfang Qingcang’s mind raced as he realized what was happening, but he could not bring himself to pull away just yet; he was too stunned.
Her mind was in a whirlwind as she felt the softness of Qingcang’s lips on hers once again. ‘NOT AGAIN!’ she thought, embarrassed and confused by the situation. ‘How am I so STUPID? I want to bury my head in the sand like an ostrich and DISAPPEAR from this world,’ she thought, desperate to escape this awkwardness.
Their bodies were surging with electricity, and as they shared a kiss, a small pinkish-red flame emerged from their heart spaces, reminiscent of the one in the portal. The warmth spread throughout their hearts, which was even more intense this time, igniting a fire deep within them.
Qingcang’s eyes transformed, becoming innocent and wide like a deer’s eyes as he stared directly at her shocked eyes, who felt stupid for landing twice on him.
As Lina gazed into Qingcang’s eyes, she realized they had changed drastically and looked familiar. ‘It’s those pure eyes again,’ she thought, caught off guard by the innocence of the once fierce man.
Qingcang felt his resistance and aggression melting away under Lina’s kiss, absorbed by her lips and leaving him feeling nothing but peace and kindness. His heartbeat steadied, and his breathing slowed in response to the serenity he was feeling now. ‘She… what did she do?’ he wondered.
As Lina snapped back to reality after dozing off into Qingcang’s innocent eyes, she realized what she had done and exclaimed loudly, “I’m so sorry!” She immediately lifted her head, wanting to jump away from her embarrassment. ‘If I don’t push myself away from him, he might get the wrong idea that I like him romantically,’ she thought, determined.
Qingcang saw that Lina was about to hurt herself again accidentally and immediately stopped her from doing so. He held her head firmly and stopped it from rising. “I order you to stop hurting yourself,” he said softly in a breathy voice.
Qingcang then held Lina’s shoulders and rolled over to the side, safely away from the table. As he looked down at her, his hands rested on the floor on each side of her head, and she found herself close to the Moon Supreme once again.
‘What is he doing? Is he flirting with me?’ Lina thought in disbelief. Her heartbeat quickened as she looked into Qingcang’s eyes, but she could see that his innocent-looking eyes had disappeared, replaced with his usual piercing, deadly gaze.
“Silly Little Human, you’re so clumsy,” Qingcang said with a menacing tone, his lips twisting into a snarl. He reverted back to his usual self, no longer the gentler spirit he had shown Lina earlier.
‘H-he’s… on top of me! That pervert!’ Lina thought, her face flushed, embarrassed by his sudden ‘flirty move’. She wanted to scramble to her feet quickly, but she bumped her head into Qingcang’s forehead like a hammer had slammed into his face.
Qingcang groaned, his head wracked with pain, as he was experiencing her pain as his own. “That… woman…” he muttered through gritted teeth, holding his forehead to ease the throbbing discomfort. The pain was almost unbearable, and he wondered how she could be so careless.
“I’m sorry!” She hastily reached her feet and held her head while yelping in pain. ‘Why am I like this now? This is so embarrassing,’ she thought, glancing at Qingcang, who was now experiencing a headache because of her. ‘I need to pray,’ she thought, quickly running to her room, leaving him glaring at her while still holding his forehead.
In irritation, Qingcang screamed, “SILLY LITTLE HUMAN!” while holding his head. ‘I’ve had enough of her clumsiness,’ he thought, furrowing his brows. He wondered why she was not avoiding him earlier today but was now nervous around him again. He did not understand what was going on with her ups and downs.
Qingcang could not shake off the strange feeling that had overcome him since their accidental kisses. He could not explain it, but he felt weaker, as if something had been drained out of him. He knew it had something to do with Lina, but he could not entirely focus on what it was. He held his head, trying to clear his mind, but the headache persisted.
“I need to stay away from that mouth of hers,” Qingcang muttered, attempting to rationalize the sudden vulnerability he had experienced.
As Qingcang looked down, his eyes were focused before he immediately raised them again, glaring fiercely in the direction she had gone. His suspicions about the human continued to rise.

Xie Yichen’s nerves were frayed as he sat across from his father in the lavish study of their mansion. The room was filled with rich mahogany furniture, and the walls were adorned with expensive paintings. Yichen could feel the weight of his father’s disapproval as he struggled to find the words to explain his situation.
“I can’t stay with Jianmin any longer, Father,” Yichen said, his voice shaking with emotion. He could feel a lump forming in his throat as he tried to hold back tears.
His father, Mr Xie, remained stoic, his sharp eyes fixed on Yichen. “And why is that?” he asked skeptically.
Yichen took a deep breath, trying to steady himself before answering. “We’re not compatible, Father. We always argued and can’t seem to agree on anything.”
His father nodded slowly, but then his expression shifted. “Yichen, I need to tell you something,” he said in a low, serious voice. “If this is a scheme to go to Lina, I won’t let you be together with her.”
Yichen’s eyes widened in shock. “What do you mean? Why would you do that?”
His father reached for a USB drive on the table beside him and held it out to Yichen. “Watch this,” he said simply.
Yichen took the drive and plugged it into a laptop that his father had handed him. The device hummed to life as he saw the file name “Hotel Security Footage” on the screen. He swallowed hard, his hands shook as he clicked on the file, and the screen flickered to life, revealing a hotel room door.
Yichen’s heart sank as he saw Lina standing outside her hotel room door with Dongfang Qingcang. He felt sick to his stomach as he watched the footage, realizing that his billionaire father was blackmailing him. If the footage were to become public, Lina’s reputation would be ruined, and he could not let that happen.
His father spoke up again, his tone gentler this time. “Son, I know you love this entertainer. But if you go to her, you’re putting her in danger. Do we have an understanding?”
Yichen understood. He knew he had to protect Lina and keep his love for her a secret. “Yes, Father,” he said, his voice barely above a whisper.
As Yichen left the study, he felt a sense of despair wash over him. He knew he had to end things with Jianmin and find a way to be with Lina. He would tell his ex-teammates he was getting a divorce and hope that Lina would hear about it and know he was returning to her. But he also knew he could not tell anyone about his love for her, not even Jianmin. The stakes were too high, and he could not risk putting Lina in danger.
‘I’m going to her house,’ Yichen thought as he walked to his silvery car.

A strange phenomenon occurred in Lina’s attic as she left with Qingcang.
Unbeknownst to Lina and Dongfang Qingcang, two shimmering, translucent circles of light materialized in mid-air, emanating a pulsating energy that filled the room. The air crackled with electricity as they transformed into portals that grew wider and wider, seemingly leading to another world.
The room was filled with a strange energy, and the portals continued to pulsate, each pulse sending shockwaves through the room. The atmosphere was charged with electric power, and the portals hummed with a low, ominous sound.

Lina and Qingcang arrived at the amusement park. She initially wanted to go by car. However, he had a better idea in mind, which he revealed by picking her up in a bridal style, and without a word, he took to the sky. Her eyes widened as they flew above the bustling city while remaining invisible. She felt adrenaline rush as they soared towards their destination, and within seconds they had arrived.
As soon as he put her down in a secluded area and they were no longer invisible, she felt her hair whip around, becoming chaotic. “M-my hair… my beautiful straight hair… all tangled now…” she muttered as she ran her fingers through the messy hair, sighing in defeat. ‘I give up… I can’t handle this guy anymore,’ she thought, frustrated. ‘How can I take cute selfies while looking like this?’ she thought as she glared at the Moon Supreme responsible for all this.
Qingcang was startled by the amusement park’s magnitude. He never thought the amusement park was such a prominent place, with many people standing in line to come close to some oddities. ‘Didn’t she say it’s not crowded today?’ he thought, as he took in the unexpected view of all the ‘monsters’ he had never seen before, from the Dark Ride to Bumper Cars, Haunted House, Funhouse, Pendulum Ride, Rollercoasters, and the Ferris Wheel. He looked at her, puzzled, and asked, “What are these fiends that humans like to ride?” He had to make sure that they were not otherworldly grotesques, and the last thing he wanted to do was to bring her to a place that endangered her life.
Lina could see the amusement park’s confusion written all over Qingcang’s face, and she could not help but feel amused by his reaction. She smiled cheesily, thinking, ‘He thinks they’re beasts? I feel like I’m bringing a little brother to the funfair for the first time.’ She cleared her throat as she saw him looking away from her, and she replied, “They are non-living objects that only serve our entertainment. So, let’s have fun!”
Qingcang rotated his head, facing Lina as he sneered, “Is this what humans do? Have fun by endangering your lives?” He could not comprehend why people would want to ride on these grotesques, and the thought of putting her in danger for entertainment made no sense to him.
Lina had looked at Qingcang funny as she attempted to comprehend his thoughts. “They’re not dangerous if you play by the rules. Accidents in amusement parks barely occur, so I’m not worried about my life,” she said, raising an eyebrow and tilting her head in amusement.
Qingcang scowled at Lina’s disregard for her safety. He walked towards her, crossed his arms over his chest, and took a domineering stance. “Don’t forget, Silly Little Human; your life belongs to me. I won’t let you endanger yourself. Understood?” he commanded, his voice firm.
Lina’s amusement gradually faded, and her brows furrowed as she looked down, feeling vulnerable. She was rendered speechless by Qingcang’s unwavering determination to keep her safe and feared for his mental well-being. ‘He has a strong affection for me… I suppose that’s why he didn’t push me away when we accidentally kissed,’ she thought as she lifted her eyes, feeling sorry for the Moon Tribesman.
“Why are you staring at me like that?” Qingcang inquired, looking puzzled and raising an eyebrow.
“Is my life that important to you?” Lina asked, her voice filled with sympathy.
His perplexed expression transformed into a scowl as he stared at her gravely. “It’s as important as my own life,” he replied, his tone serious.
She gazed intently into Qingcang’s eyes. She had never had anyone devote their life to her as he had, and his persistence had begun to persuade her to believe him slowly. “I… didn’t know…” she muttered, barely audibly, as she realized the depth of his feelings for her.
Qingcang stood firm, his expression unwavering. “So, I won’t allow you to partake in this,” he stated matter-of-factly, his tone resolute.
Her eyes widened as her irritation intensified. She could not believe Qingcang was trying to ruin the rest of her day. They had come all this way, and now he wanted to prevent her from having fun. Her anger began to mount, and she thought, ‘Is he for real? It’s not even dangerous! Today, I dealt with that Satan’s spawn, Jianmin. If I don’t do something to cheer me up, I’ll go crazy!’ She cleared her throat and looked into his eyes. “Listen here, Dongfang Qingcang,” she snapped, commanding him. “I am mentally exhausted, and your actions are ruining my mood. I order YOU to obey me today and participate in these activities here. I’m NOT leaving until I feel happy today. So, let’s have some fun, and don’t argue with me. Understood?”
Qingcang’s eyes widened in surprise. He knew what was coming. “You dare…?” he murmured under his breath, knowing that she was not one to be easily swayed. A strange power started to compel him to comply with her and participate in these activities. ‘SILLY LITTLE HUMAN!’ he inwardly screamed deviously. He felt he would not like it here with all these monsters and humans that could endanger her. Nonetheless, he had no choice but to obey her today and go on the rides with her. ‘She turned me into her servant again…’ he thought bitterly.
